For 25 years, Salsa Libre has been bringing together people who share one thing: the joy of music, dance and spending time together.

Salsa Libre has never been just a place to dance. It is a community where people come together, learn from each other, build friendships and connect through music.

For our anniversary, we’re turning it into a whole weekend: with workshops for different levels and styles, great instructors, live music, DJs and a big Halloween party.

From October 30 to November 1, 2026, we’ll celebrate 25 years of Salsa Libre together – and everyone who has been and still is part of it.

✨ What to expect:
Three days full of dance & music:

🔸 an anniversary concert on Friday evening
🔸 workshops with international and local instructors
🔸 Casino, Son, Styling, Bachata, Kizomba and Rueda
🔸 pre-party workshops on Friday and Saturday
🔸 a big Halloween party on Saturday (costumes are definitely encouraged!)
🔸 Rueda Special on Sunday
🔸 and most importantly: a whole weekend to celebrate together

A weekend for members, friends, visitors from out of town and everyone who already knows Salsa Libre or would like to get to know us.

Corcovado Salsa Club is one of Austria’s most energetic Latin bands. With musicians from Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela and Cuba, the international line-up combines Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton and Latin Pop to create its own distinctive Latin sound.

Many of you already know Corcovado from our concert together in 2023. For Salsa Libre’s 25th anniversary, we’re bringing the band back to Innsbruck – this time to the Bierstindl, right in the middle of our big anniversary weekend.

The Bierstindl is a special place for Salsa Libre. For many years, our association called it home and grew here before we had to leave in 2011 due to the upcoming renovation.

Since then, we have had our own club venue – but for special celebrations, we always enjoy returning to the Bierstindl. For our 25th anniversary, we’re reconnecting with many shared memories while creating new ones at the same time.

25 Years of Salsa Libre

25 years mean countless nights of dancing, workshops, celebrations, encounters and friendships.

People have come, stayed, moved on and returned. Music and dance have changed, new styles and generations have joined us – but the basic idea has remained the same:

This weekend is a birthday celebration for an association, and it is a celebration for everyone who has shaped Salsa Libre over the past 25 years and for those who are part of our community today.
